Nursery teaching assistants help support the nursery teacher in educating and interacting with children from the age of 3. These early school years begin the foundation of a child’s education and provide an opportunity to develop new skills and interact with other children in a classroom environment.
As a nursery teaching assistant, you will help plan and organise both fun and educational activities that will encourage young children to begin growing and prepare them for their future school experience. Alongside the nursery teacher, you will also work to ensure children’s personal development and needs are taken care of. It is so important children learn to love and look forward to nursery school as it is an essential part of learning lifelong behaviours and learning techniques.
At Horizon Teachers, we are always seeking nursery teaching assistants to join our friendly schools and nurseries. We are passionate about providing caring and engaging education to children from a young age and, therefore, work hard to ensure we can provide the next generation with the best possible start in their school life.
If you have experience working with young children and nurseries, we would love to hear from you. Horizon Teachers has extensive experience working with early year provisions in nurseries and children’s centres so we can support you in finding a suitable role, whether it is short term, long term or on a permanent basis.
