A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Waltham Forest, East London is looking to appoint a committed and caring Teaching Assistant to join its supportive team from January, on a long-term, full-time basis until the end of the academic year.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and wants to play an active role in helping students succeed both academically and personally within a positive and aspirational school environment.

The role offers a daily rate of up to £110, depending on experience.

About the Role:
  • Provide focused 1:1 and small-group support to students across a range of subjects and key stages
  • Support teachers in delivering engaging, inclusive lessons tailored to diverse learning needs
  • Work closely with the SENCO and wider inclusion team to implement personalised support strategies
  • Promote independence, confidence, and positive behaviour for learning
  • Contribute to a calm, structured, and supportive classroom environment
