SEN Teaching Assistant

Horizon Teachers are seeking a passionate and experienced Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with complex needs in a welcoming and inclusive Primary School starting this January.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone committed to improving the learning, development, and wellbeing of children with a wide range of additional needs.

The Role

• Supporting learners with complex needs, including Autism, SLCN, PMLD, SLD, medical needs, and behavioural needs
• Providing 1:1 and small group support to help pupils access the curriculum
• Assisting with sensory-based learning, communication strategies, and personalised interventions
• Supporting children's social, emotional, and communication development through nurturing and consistent practice

What We're Looking For

• Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Supporting Teaching and Learning or SEND
• Experience supporting pupils with complex learning needs within a Primary setting
• Strong understanding of SEN strategies, communication systems, and sensory approaches
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
