A supportive and progressive secondary school in Barking and Dagenham, East London is looking to appoint a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join their expanding learning support team.
This full-time, long-term role offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with students who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), playing a key part in fostering an inclusive, uplifting school environment where every child can thrive.
The role provides a daily rate of up to £110, depending on experience.
About the Role: - Offer personalised 1:1 and small-group support across various subjects and year groups
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that cater to a wide range of learning needs
- Work alongside the SENCO and wider support staff to implement, track, and adapt individual support strategies
- Encourage independence, positive behaviour, and emotional confidence in students
