Primary Teachers - Australian/New Zealand trained

Horizon Teachers are seeking overseas trained Primary Teachers who are looking to work in London. We work with Primary Schools across London who regularly book supply/relief Teachers to cover short term absences and sickness. We are particularly interested in hearing from anyone who has completed their teaching qualifications in Australia and New Zealand, due to the similarities to the UK curriculum. As a successful supply teacher it is important to have effective classroom and behaviour management. You must also have excellent rapport building skills with students and be able to following lesson plans. Supply teaching can be an ideal way to supplement your income while setting your own schedule. It also allows you to improve your classroom skills as you try out different schools, year groups and methods.
