Are you passionate about supporting children in their early development? We work with a very welcoming and inclusive Children's Centre in Islington, and they are looking for a caring, enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to work with their children aged 0-5 years old.
This is a long-term position starting in January, on a full-time basis. The centre is looking for a reliable Nursery Assistant, to work with them until July 2026, with the potential to continue for the next academic year.
Key Responsibilities as a Nursery Assistant:- Provide a safe, stimulating, and caring environment for children aged 0-5.
- Support children's physical, emotional, and social development through play and age-appropriate activities.
- Assist with daily routines, including feeding, changing, and sleeping.
- Monitor and record children's development and progress.
What we're looking for:- Level 3 qualification in Childcare is desirable (but not essential if you have experience in a similar setting)
- Experience working with babies in an early year setting.
- A warm, patient, and engaging approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's wellbeing.
