About the Role:
As a Secondary School Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4. Working closely with teaching staff and the SEND department, you will assist in delivering engaging lessons, provide 1:1 and small group support, and help maintain a positive learning environment for all pupils.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with a range of abilities, including those with SEND
  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering differentiated lessons
  • Work with small groups or individual students to reinforce learning
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe, respectful learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Experience working with young people in an educational setting (school, tutoring, youth work)
  • A genuine passion for supporting secondary-aged students
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • A positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic
  • The ability to work well independently and as part of a team
