Are you passionate about education and eager to inspire the next generation? A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Waltham Cross is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team.

This is an excellent opportunity to support students across Key Stages 3 and 4, both academically and personally. You'll work closely with teachers and the SEND department to provide tailored interventions, engaging learning experiences, and meaningful support that helps every student succeed.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Support teaching and learning across a range of KS3 and KS4 subjects
  • Provide one-to-one and small-group interventions based on individual student needs
  • Assist students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and focused classroom environment
  • Help with lesson planning, resource preparation, and classroom organisation

What We're Looking For
  • Experience working in a school or educational setting (paid or voluntary)
  • A proactive, caring, and enthusiastic approach
  • A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred, not required)
  • Early Career Teachers are welcome to apply
  • Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
  • A strong understanding of safeguarding and inclusive practices
