Teaching Assistant

Role: Classroom Assistant
Pay rate: up to £650 per week
Location: Southwark
Start date: September 2025

A well-regarded primary school located in Southwark, South-East London is currently seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to join their team starting in September 2025. This is a full-time, long-term position offering a rewarding opportunity to support pupils across a wide range of subjects in a friendly and inclusive learning environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Assisting in the educational and social development of pupils under the direction and guidance of the class teacher
• Supporting any specific pupils who may have an Education, Health and Care Plan
• Assist with extra-curricular activities such as games, clubs and societies
• Offer small group and 1:1 support session at break times
• Provide support for specific pupils inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully access the curriculum and participate in activities through developing independence and self confidence
• Assist with the development of support materials
