We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join the school from January 2025. This full-time role is perfect for someone passionate about supporting young learners and contributing to a vibrant primary setting.

The Role
Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting pupils through small-group intervention work
• Delivering phonics sessions using structured schemes
• Leading early reading groups
• Working in partnership with class teachers to raise attainment
• Creating a positive, engaging learning environment
• Providing tailored support to pupils with varying academic needs

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your classroom skills and make a measurable impact on pupils' progress, particularly in early literacy.

About You
The ideal candidate will:

• Have previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting
• Hold a relevant TA qualification (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE, or equivalent) â?? preferred but not essential
• Be confident delivering phonics and supporting early reading
• Be patient, proactive, and committed to helping children succeed
• Work well as part of a friendly and collaborative team
