Role: Teaching Assistant

Horizon Teachers are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work within a rich and dynamic school environment set in extensive school grounds providing great opportunities for outdoor learning.

- The school use the National Curriculum and the EYFS framework as a starting point, Areas of Learning and Curriculum subjects are organised into units of learning which are carefully planned to ensure the progressive accumulation of knowledge, understanding and skills across a range of disciplines.
Key responsibilities:- Support students with diverse learning needs in and out of the classroom
- Assist with behaviour management and academic support across all subject areas
- Being pro-active in the class to ensure your support is tailored to each childâ??s individual need
- Provide support to lower ability students on a 1:1 or small group basis across all cores subject areas
- Assist with daily administrative tasks including photocopying, displays and marking
