Roles and Responsibilities

  • Supporting the class teacher with the day-to-day running of the classroom
  • Working with small groups or individual pupils, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN), to support their learning and development
  • Supporting students with SEN such as autism, speech & language difficulties, ADHD and sensory processing needs
  • Encourage positive social interactions, independence and resilience among all pupils
  • Supervising pupils during transitions, break times and outing, ensuring their safety and well-being
  • Participating in ongoing professional development and whole-school training initiatives to deepen your understanding of SEN and inclusive teaching practices
Who weâ??re looking for
  • Previous experience working in a primary school or educational setting
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with staff and parents
  • A caring, and enthusiastic approach to supporting childrenâ??s learning and development
  • A strong understanding or interest in supporting children with SEN
