We are currently working with a welcoming and inclusive two-form entry primary school in Hackney, who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team. This role will involve providing 1:1 support for a child in Year 3 with Special Educational Needs, helping them to access learning and thrive in the classroom.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable experience in a supportive school environment, or for an experienced Teaching Assistant ready for a new challenge. The role is full-time, term-time only, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role:- Providing tailored 1:1 support for a child with SEN in Year 3.
- Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Supporting pupils in small groups where needed.
- Encouraging positive behaviour, independence, and engagement in learning.
- Helping with classroom preparation, organisation, and resources.
- Contributing to the wider school community and its values.
Requirements:- Previous experience working with children, ideally supporting those with SEN.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, flexible approach.
