Role: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Hammersmith & Fulham
Contract: Full-time | Term-time only
Pay: Up to £615 per week
Are you an experienced SEN teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a vibrant and supportive primary school?
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN TA to join a fantastic primary school in the Hammersmith and Fulham area. This is a full-time, term-time only position, ideal for someone with a genuine passion for making a difference in childrenâ??s lives.
Key responsibilities:- Provide one-to-one support for a pupil with special educational needs (SEN), helping them to access the curriculum and reach their full potential
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement personalised learning strategies and behaviour plans
- Assist with classroom activities and ensure a positive, inclusive learning environment
- Monitor progress and contribute to assessments and reviews
Requirements:- Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a school setting is essential
- Ability to build strong, supportive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
- A patient, resilient and caring approach to working with children with additional needs
