About the Role

Horizon Teachers is looking for a dedicated and passionate KS4 Teacher to join a specialist SEMH provision in North West London. The successful candidate will deliver Business Studies and Humanities to students aged 14-16 who require a nurturing, structured and engaging learning environment to achieve their potential.
You will plan and deliver differentiated lessons, use restorative and trauma-informed approaches to support behaviour, and work closely with a dedicated pastoral and therapeutic team to help each student progress academically and emotionally.
 
This role is to start ASAP or in January 2026 until the end of the academic year and will pay up to £1200 per week.
 
Requirements
  • Strong subject knowledge in Business Studies and/or Humanities (History, Geography or RE)
  • Experience working with students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs or challenging behaviour
  • Excellent classroom management and de-escalation skills
  • Empathetic, resilient, and committed to making a difference
