This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting high-quality science education across Key Stages 3 and 4. Working closely with the science department, you'll help prepare engaging practical lessons, maintain specialist equipment, and ensure a safe and well-organised learning environment where every student can thrive.
Your Key Responsibilities- Prepare, set up, and clear away equipment and materials for science lessons
- Support teachers in delivering engaging practical experiments
- Maintain, clean, and store laboratory equipment safely
- Monitor and manage stock levels of chemicals and resources
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and school policies
- Assist in the creation of resources and displays for the science department
What We're Looking For- Experience working in a school or laboratory setting (paid or voluntary)
- A practical and organised approach, with strong attention to detail
- Good knowledge of science equipment, materials, and safety procedures
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- A proactive attitude and willingness to support learning
- Understanding of safeguarding and commitment to student welfare
