This role is crucial in ensuring that students receive the guidance and support they need to succeed both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive pastoral care and support to students across the school.
- Monitor and manage student behaviour, attendance, and overall well-being.
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to address any issues affecting students' academic progress and personal development.
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies and contribute to a positive school culture.
- Lead and organise initiatives, assemblies, and events that promote students' social and emotional development.
- Serve as a key point of contact for students, parents, and staff, providing advice and resolving concerns.
What We're Looking For:- Experience in a pastoral or student support role, ideally within a secondary school setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
- A proactive, empathetic, and solution-focused approach.
