At Starfish Childrenâ??s Day Nursery, weâ??re a friendly, family-run nursery with a long-standing reputation for providing outstanding care and education for young children. Weâ??re now looking for a Nursery Manager who shares our values and enthusiasm for helping children thrive in a nurturing, supportive environment.
 
About the Role
As our Nursery Manager, youâ??ll lead a dedicated and caring team, ensuring that our nursery continues to be a safe, happy, and inspiring place for every child. Youâ??ll play a key role in day-to-day operations - from guiding staff and supporting families to ensuring we meet the highest standards of care and education.
 
What youâ??ll do:
  • Lead and motivate a talented team, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture
  • Oversee daily operations including curriculum planning, staff scheduling, and parent communication
  • Ensure all regulatory and safeguarding standards are met
  • Manage budgets and support continuous improvement across the nursery
  • Build warm, trusting relationships with children, families, and staff
 
What Weâ??re Looking For
  • Proven leadership experience within an early yearâ??s setting
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A passion for providing high-quality childcare and early education
  • Experience managing or supervising within a nursery or childcare setting
  • Strong understanding of EYFS and health & safety regulations
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English

Experience
Nursery: 5 years (preferred)
Childcare: 5 years (preferred)
Management: 3 years (required)
