Cover Supervisor

This is an excellent opportunity to make a real impact by supervising lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining a positive classroom environment in the absence of teachers. Youâ??ll play a key role in supporting studentsâ?? academic progress and personal development, while gaining valuable school-based experience.
 
Your Key Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans across a range of KS3 and KS4 subjects.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a focused learning environment.
• Provide guidance and support to students, encouraging engagement and achievement.
• Assist with lesson delivery, resource preparation, and classroom organisation.
• Work closely with teaching staff and the wider school team to uphold high standards.

 
What Weâ??re Looking For

• Experience working with young people in a school or educational setting (paid or voluntary).
• A proactive, confident, and professional approach.
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
• Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to supervise different subjects.
• A good understanding of safeguarding and inclusive practices.
• Graduates or aspiring teachers are encouraged to apply.
