Cover Supervisor

Are you an enthusiastic and confident individual with a passion for supporting young people in their education? Horizon Teachers is currently seeking a reliable and proactive Cover Supervisor to work on a daily supply basis at a welcoming secondary school in Plumstead, within the London Borough of Greenwich.

This is a daily role with the potential to go long-term for the right candidate.

 
About the Role:

• Deliver pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the class teacher
• Manage classroom behaviour and ensure students remain on task
• Support students in their learning and encourage positive engagement
• Work across a range of subjects depending on the school's daily requirements
• Build positive relationships with staff and students to maintain a productive learning environment

 
Ideal Candidate:

• Confident in managing classroom behaviour
• Flexible, reliable, and available for daily supply work
• Previous experience working with secondary-aged students is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• An interest in education and supporting young people's development
