Role: Classroom Assistant

Horizon Teachers are in partnership with an inner London primary school in Croydon that is seeking to appoint a classroom assistant to support pupils in accessing the curriculum across all core subject areas.
The school provide inspiring environments that nurture social, emotional, spiritual and educational growth.
Key responsibilities:- Assisting in the educational and social development of pupils under the direction and guidance of the class teacher
- Supporting any specific pupils who may have an Education, Health and Care Plan
- Assist with extra-curricular activities such as games, clubs and societies
- Offer small group and 1:1 support session at break times
- Provide support for specific pupils inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully access the curriculum and participate in activities through developing independence and self confidence
- Assist with the development of support materials
