We are currently recruiting on behalf of a fantastic primary school in Croydon for a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant.
This is a warm, inclusive, and well-managed primary school with a strong commitment to supporting pupils with additional needs. SEN Teaching Assistants are highly valued and work closely with teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals.

Key Responsibilities;
  • Provide 1:1 support for pupils with SEN 
  • Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
  • Assist with general classroom support alongside the class teacher
  • Deliver small group interventions when required
  • Implement strategies from EHCPs and support plans
  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and staff
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Proven experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Experience supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, and/or communication needs
  • Confident working 1:1 and within a classroom setting
  • Calm, patient, and resilient approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Passionate about making a meaningful difference in SEN education
