A friendly and inclusive secondary school in Waltham Forest, East London is looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join its established inclusion and support team.
This full-time, long-term position provides a fantastic opportunity to work closely with pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), helping to foster a safe, supportive, and encouraging learning environment where every student is given the opportunity to succeed.
The role offers a daily rate of up to £110, depending on experience.
The Role:- Deliver targeted 1:1 and small-group support across a range of subjects and year groups
- Work collaboratively with class teachers to ensure lessons are engaging and accessible for all learners
- Support the SENCO and inclusion team in delivering personalised interventions and tracking progress
- Promote positive behaviour, independence, and confidence both in and out of the classroom
The School Is Looking For:- Experience working with children or young people, ideally including exposure to SEND
- Strong communication skills and the ability to form positive, professional relationships
- A calm, flexible, and proactive approach within a busy school environment
