We are seeking a caring and dedicated
1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with additional needs in the classroom. This role is vital in helping the child to access learning, develop confidence, and achieve their personal and academic goals.
Key responsibilities include:- Providing tailored 1:1 support to a pupil with additional needs.
- Supporting learning activities as directed by the class teacher.
- Assisting with social and emotional development, encouraging positive behaviour and independence.
- Building strong relationships with the pupil, staff, and parents to ensure consistent support.
- Helping to create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
What Weâ??re Looking For- Experience working with children in a school or educational setting.
- A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
- Understanding of SEN strategies and approaches (desirable but not essential).
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
