A
secondary school based in Richmond upon Thames, South-West London is seeking a
detail-oriented Examinations Officer to support the smooth and efficient delivery of examinations during a busy assessment period.
This
full-time, short-term role runs from
1 May to 25 June and offers an excellent opportunity for a reliable, organised administrator to play a vital role in supporting students and staff at a key point in the academic calendar. The successful candidate will work closely with
CIE, AQA and Pearson exam boards, ensuring all examination and assessment processes are delivered accurately and in line with regulations.
The position offers a competitive day rate of £100 - £120.
About the Role: - Support the Exams Coordinator and senior staff with the day-to-day administration of examinations
- Manage exam timetables, student registrations, and seating plans across CIE, AQA and Pearson
- Prepare, receive, store, and distribute confidential exam materials securely
- Coordinate invigilation arrangements and ensure exam rooms run smoothly
- Maintain accurate records of entries, attendance, and results
- Provide wider support to the student registry during peak periods

- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with excellent attention to detail
- Confidence communicating with staff, students, and external exam boards
- A calm, reliable, and professional approach, especially under pressure
- Good IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
