Primary Teaching Assistant
Are you a caring and proactive Teaching Assistant looking for a full-time role in a welcoming North London primary school? We’re supporting a local school to appoint a Teaching Assistant to start ASAP and would love to hear from you if you enjoy helping children thrive in the classroom.
In this full-time Primary Teaching Assistant role, you’ll play an important part in supporting pupils and teachers across the school.
Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:- Supporting pupils during whole-class learning activities
- Working 1:1 or in small groups with children who need additional support
- Assisting with behaviour management in line with school policies
- Helping to prepare resources and set up classroom activities
- Providing feedback to the class teacher on pupil progress
- Supporting pupils with SEND or additional needs where required
We’d love to hear from you if you have:- Experience working with children or young people
- A calm, patient and professional approach
- Confidence building positive relationships with pupils
- Willingness to support behaviour, learning and routines
