Horiszon Teachers are working with a special needs school based in the London borough of Harrow, they speicalise in supporting children and young people with complex learning needs, including ASD, PMLD, and severe learning difficulties (SLD). The environment is highly nurturing, structured, and therapy-informed.
The school is seeking a SEND Teacher to work with primary or secondary pupils with complex needs and significant learning difficulties.
Responsibilities:- Planning and delivering multisensory lessons for students with complex needs.
- Working closely with therapists (SaLT, OT, Physio).
- Supporting communication and independence through structured approaches.
- Leading a class team and maintaining a safe, inclusive environment.
Requirements:- QTS (essential).
- Experience in SLD/PMLD or complex needs settings preferred.
- Strong understanding of sensory learning and communication systems.
- Compassion, resilience, and a collaborative mindset.
