The school is recruiting an ASD-specialist SEND Teacher to lead a small, well-supported class. This role focuses on communication development, sensory regulation, and practical life skills.
Responsibilities:- Delivering ASD-specific teaching with clear routines and visuals.
- Working collaboratively with SaLT and behaviour teams.
- Planning engaging activities that support communication and independence.
- Managing a team of TAs and ensuring consistent practice.
Requirements:- QTS not essential but is desirable
- Solid experience teaching children with ASD.
- Knowledge of autism strategies (TEACCH, PECS, visuals, sensory regulation).
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
