 We’re looking for a passionate SEND Teacher Assistant to join a supportive specialist school in Greenwich. The school works with primary and secondary pupils with needs including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties, with a strong focus on helping each child feel safe, included, and confident.

Main Tasks:
  • Support students 1:1 or in small groups
  • Help adapt classwork so it suits each child’s needs
  • Support daily routines, sensory activities, and interventions
  • Encourage positive behaviour and social confidence
  • Work closely with teachers and the SEND team
What we’re looking for:
  •  Experience with SEND (especially autism and behaviour support is helpful)
  •  Knowledge of Autism-friendly strategies, sensory needs, and behaviour management approaches.
  • Relevant qualifications such as Level 2 or Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning (desirable but not essential).
  • A genuine interest in helping children grow in confidence and independence
