Horizon Teachers are looking for a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join a supportive and high-achieving secondary school. This role is ideal for an experienced teacher or an ambitious ECT eager to develop their skills in a collaborative environment.

The successful candidate will teach Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Science, taking responsibility for all aspects of classroom teaching, including lesson planning, delivery, assessment, and marking. You will work within a welcoming department committed to high standards and positive student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and well-structured Science lessons across KS3 & KS4.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with curriculum requirements.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour through effective and consistent behaviour management.
  • Contribute to the wider school community and activities.
  • Support and uphold the Catholic ethos of the school.

Person Specification:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge and passion for Science.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
  • Respectful and supportive of the schoolâ??s Catholic values.
