Horizon Teachers are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Science Teacher to join a welcoming and high-performing secondary school. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or a strong ECT looking to develop their practice within a supportive environment.

The successful candidate will teach Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Science classes and will be responsible for the full scope of classroom duties, including planning, preparing, teaching, and marking. You will join a collaborative department and contribute to maintaining high academic standards and positive outcomes for students.

The Role:
  • Deliver engaging and well-structured Science lessons across KS3 & KS4.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with curriculum expectations.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour using strong, consistent behaviour management strategies.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and its community.
  • Support and uphold the Catholic ethos of the school.

About You:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for Science.
  • Excellent behaviour management skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of mixed abilities.
  • Respectful of the schoolâ??s Catholic values and ethos.
