Responsibilities
As a full-time KS2 class teacher, you will:

• Plan, teach, assess and review engaging and challenging lessons across the KS2 curriculum, ensuring all pupils make excellent progress.
• Create a stimulating, inclusive classroom environment which fosters curiosity, resilience, and a love for learning.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing timely feedback and targeted support to meet individual needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues, leaders and support staff to develop cross-curricular projects and initiatives.
• Contribute to the wider school community through parent engagement, extracurricular activities, and whole-school events.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and foster positive relationships with pupils, parents and carers.
• Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions and performance review discussions.

 
About You
You are an enthusiastic, reflective and dedicated teacher who is passionate about primary education. You should:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (or significant teaching experience).
• Be confident in planning and delivering high-quality, differentiated lessons that challenge and support all children.
• Demonstrate strong classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils.
• Be committed to ongoing professional development, willing to learn and to share your skills and ideas with colleagues.
• Show a genuine desire to contribute to a school culture that values ambition, creativity, and collaboration.
• Be resilient, flexible and ready to embrace the â??Dare to Dreamâ?? ethos by inspiring pupils to reach their full potential.
