Horizon Teachers are seeking a passionate and dedicated
Geography Teacher for an
18-month fixed-term contract, starting
January, at a high-performing secondary school in
Sutton (South West London). This is an excellent opportunity to teach across
KS3â??KS5 and shape studentsâ?? understanding of the world around them.
About the Role- Deliver engaging and well-planned Geography lessons across KS3â??KS5.
- Foster curiosity about the world, developing studentsâ?? analytical, fieldwork, and critical-thinking skills.
- Plan, assess, and monitor progress to ensure students achieve or surpass their target grades.
- Work collaboratively within a supportive Humanities department committed to high academic standards.
About You- Hold QTS, QTLS, or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Geography at KS3 & KS4, with the ability to teach or support KS5.
- Strong understanding of GCSE and A Level Geography content and assessment criteria.
- A passion for Geography with the ability to bring the subject to life and motivate learners of all abilities.
