Hi, I’m Matt and I am the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Horizon Teachers. We opened our doors back in August 2008 and have built this consultancy on the foundations of strong values, ethics and quality. We always have the best interests of our teachers and support staff at the very centre of everything we do, they are the heartbeat of this company. To ensure this happens, we need a well-trained, dedicated, and professional team around us, who all believe in and uphold our company values, and that is exactly what we have! I am proud to be able to work with such a great team every day.

I have worked in education recruitment since 2001, and prior to this, I worked in the field of English as a Foreign Language (EFL), firstly as a teacher of English in Spain, then recruiting EFL Teachers for language schools across the country. I am the proud (and tired!) father of triplet boys who, born the same year that Horizon Teachers started, are now well into their teens. Watching their journey through their education every year emphasises the importance of Horizon’s commitment to our work, and to enhancing children’s education.
