Hi! My name is Alexa and I'm a Senior SEND Consultant here at Horizon Teachers. I've been working in SEND recruitment for around 7 years, and previously covered the South West of England before moving to London in January 2024. I now support SEND schools, alternative provisions and resource bases across a number of London boroughs.
 
The support for the children within the educational provisions I look after is at the forefront of every placement I make. Compassionate support for neuro-divergent and/or vulnerable children has never been as important as now, and It's an honour to play a small part in making this more possible. 
 
Out of hours, I am likely treating (punishing) my neighbours to a below-average rendition of Wonderwall on my guitar, or practising the same DJ mix I've been attempting to perfect for the last year.
