About the RoleA welcoming and inclusive primary school in Lambeth is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity supporting pupils with additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, and speech & language difficulties.
You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide tailored 1:1 and small group support, helping pupils access the curriculum and achieve their full potential in a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide 1:1 support for pupils with special educational needs
- Assist in delivering personalised learning plans (EHCP targets)
- Support pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and parents
- Help create an engaging, inclusive classroom environment
- Monitor and report on pupil progress
About You- Previous experience working with children with SEN
- A patient, resilient, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s development
