The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and speech & language needs
  • Work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCo to deliver personalised learning strategies
  • Support pupils with emotional regulation and social interaction
  • Adapt learning materials to suit individual needs
  • Encourage engagement, independence, and positive behaviour
The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking someone who:
  • Has experience working with children with SEN 
  • Is patient, empathetic, and resilient
  • Communicates effectively and works well as part of a team
  • Is proactive, adaptable, and enthusiastic
  • Holds a relevant qualification (desirable but not essential)
This role is ideal for experienced SEN TAs, as well as graduates considering careers in education, psychology, or speech and language therapy.
