We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team and make a positive impact on the educational journey of our pupils.

Main Responsibilities and Duties

  • Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning objectives.
  • Assist in the preparation of classroom resources and learning materials.
  • Provide support for pupils with additional learning needs, where required.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and help maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
  • Support children during classroom activities, educational visits, and school events.
  • Assist with the development of pupils' social, emotional, and communication skills.
  • Promote safeguarding and welfare standards in line with school policies.
  • Help maintain a well-organised and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents/carers.
  • Undertake administrative tasks as directed by the class teacher or senior leadership team.
