Position: SEN Teaching Assistant

About the RoleWe are seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils across a range of primary schools in Brent. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs.
You will work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to provide tailored support, helping pupils access the curriculum, build confidence, and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN
- Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans and EHCP targets
- Support pupils with communication, behaviour, and emotional regulation
- Adapt learning materials to meet individual needs
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:- Experience working with children with SEN
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s development
