We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a friendly and inclusive school in Barnet. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about supporting children and helping them achieve their full potential.
The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers and SEN staff to provide tailored support to pupils, both within the classroom and through small group or one-to-one interventions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support pupils in accessing the curriculum and participating fully in school life.
  • Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning objectives.
  • Assist pupils with additional learning, social, emotional, or behavioural needs.
  • Help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
  • Monitor and record pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
  • Support classroom organisation and preparation of learning resources.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting.
  • A patient, caring, and positive approach.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
  • A commitment to supporting children's learning and wellbeing.
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEND is desirable but not essential.
