We are currently recruiting for a caring and resilient Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEND school in Hillingdon. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is patient, nurturing and committed to supporting pupils with severe and complex needs to achieve their full potential.

The successful Teaching Assistant will work as part of a supportive team, assisting pupils with a range of profound learning difficulties, complex needs and additional requirements. You will play a key role in supporting children both academically and personally, helping them to feel safe, valued and encouraged throughout the school day.
 

The role will include:
  • Supporting pupils with severe and complex SEND needs across the school day.
  • Working closely with class teachers and specialist staff to support learning and development.
  • Supporting pupils with emotional regulation and sensory needs.
  • Assisting with personal care routines, including toileting, changing and intimate care where required.
  • Encouraging communication, engagement and independence.
 
The ideal candidate will have:
  • The confidence and willingness to support pupils with complex needs, including personal care requirements.
  • Previous experience supporting children with SEND, complex needs and profound learning disabilities.
  • A positive attitude and a genuine desire to make a difference.
