Main Responsibilities- Support pupils in the classroom, helping them access learning and achieve their individual targets.
- Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
- Provide one-to-one and small-group support for pupils who require additional assistance.
- Assist with the preparation of learning resources and classroom activities.
- Promote positive behaviour and contribute to a calm, inclusive learning environment.
- Support pupils' social, emotional and academic development.
- Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff where appropriate.
- Assist with playground duties, school trips and other wider school activities as required.
- Help ensure safeguarding procedures and school policies are followed at all times.
About You- Previous experience working with children in a school, childcare or educational setting is desirable.
- A positive, proactive and patient approach to supporting young learners.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
- A genuine passion for education and helping children succeed.
- Confident supporting pupils with varying learning needs and abilities.
