Contract: Full-Time | September 2026 Start
Salary: £515 – £550 per week

Main Responsibilities

• Support pupils in the classroom, helping them access learning and achieve their individual targets.
• Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
• Provide one-to-one and small-group support for pupils who require additional assistance.
• Assist with the preparation of learning resources and classroom activities.
• Promote positive behaviour and contribute to a calm, inclusive learning environment.
• Support pupils' social, emotional and academic development.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff where appropriate.
• Assist with playground duties, school trips and other wider school activities as required.
• Help ensure safeguarding procedures and school policies are followed at all times.

 
About You

• Previous experience working with children in a school, childcare or educational setting is desirable.
• A positive, proactive and patient approach to supporting young learners.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
• A genuine passion for education and helping children succeed.
• Confident supporting pupils with varying learning needs and abilities.
