This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a nurturing environment and is keen to support children in the early stages of their education.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with a range of additional needs. You will work closely with class teachers and the SENCo to ensure every child receives the support they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities- Provide 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual learning needs
- Assist in delivering structured interventions and differentiated activities
- Support pupils with emotional regulation and social development
- Encourage engagement, independence, and confidence in learning
- Build strong relationships with staff, pupils, and parents
The Ideal Candidate- Experience working with children with SEN
- A calm, patient, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s development
- Relevant qualifications are desirable
