An inclusive primary school in Hillingdon is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join its supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a nurturing environment where children are encouraged to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

Staff work collaboratively to ensure pupils receive the care, encouragement and tailored support they need to succeed.
Main Duties
  • Support pupils within the classroom on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
  • Help children develop confidence, independence and positive learning behaviours
  • Support pupils with additional needs, including SEND, adapting activities where appropriate
  • Prepare classroom resources and maintain an organised learning environment
  • Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers
  • Promote safeguarding, wellbeing and positive behaviour at all times
  • Work closely with teaching staff, SEND professionals and parents/carers to support pupil development
About You
We are looking for someone who:
  • Has experience working with children in a school or educational setting
  • Is patient, caring and passionate about supporting children’s learning
  • Has a good understanding of inclusive practice and supporting pupils with SEND
  • Builds positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Is proactive, adaptable and willing to contribute to school life
  • Holds GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
