SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary School

Full-Time | Long-Term Opportunity| ASAP or After May Half Term Start (with potential roll over into September)
We are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Brent.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced TA or someone with a strong background supporting children with additional needs who is looking to make a real impact within education.
The Role:- Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide tailored support
- Assisting children with Autism, ADHD, speech & language needs and social/emotional development
- Helping to create a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment
- Encouraging student confidence, independence and academic progress
The Ideal Candidate:- Previous experience working with children with SEND within a school or similar setting
- A calm, patient and proactive approach
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- Passionate about supporting children’s learning and development
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
