  • Previous experience working with young people, ideally in a school or education setting.
  • A patient, proactive, and supportive approach to learning.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting students and helping them succeed.
  • Experience supporting students with additional needs (desirable but not essential).
Key responsibilities
  • Support students in lessons, both in groups and on a one-to-one basis.
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Help students stay focused, motivated, and on task.
  • Provide additional support to students with varying learning needs.
  • Promote positive behaviour and contribute to a safe learning environment.
  • Support the wider school community where required.
