Role: Teaching Assistant
Start: April 2026
Contract: Monday to Friday (8:30am to 4:00pm)
Location: Hammersmith & Fulham
Pay Rate: £500 - £550 per week
 
We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and caring Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and inclusive primary school community. This is an exciting opportunity to support children in their learning journey and make a meaningful difference every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality teaching and learning
• Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning and help pupils stay engaged
• Assist in the preparation of classroom resources and activities
• Provide support for pupils with additional needs, ensuring inclusion at all times
• Promote positive behaviour and help maintain a safe, respectful learning environment
• Contribute to assessment and tracking of pupil progress where required
• Support with playground duties and wider school activities

About You

• A passionate and patient individual who enjoys working with children
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A proactive and flexible approach to supporting teaching and learning
• Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting (desirable but not essential)
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop professionally
