Primary Teaching Assistant – Brent 
Full-time | Long-term opportunity 

We are working with a welcoming and well-regarded primary school in Brent that is looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting children’s development and wants to make a genuine difference in the classroom.
The school is known for its inclusive ethos, supportive leadership, and strong focus on pupil wellbeing. Staff are valued as part of a collaborative team, and there is a real emphasis on creating a positive environment where both pupils and adults can thrive. The school also has well-established SEN support, with experienced staff and clear structures in place to ensure every child receives the support they need. You will work closely with the class teacher to support learning across the classroom and may also provide 1:1 or small-group support, including working with pupils with Special Educational Needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities
  • Providing targeted support to pupils who need additional help
  • Assisting with SEN interventions and personalised learning strategies
  • Helping create a positive, engaging learning environment
  • Encouraging pupils’ confidence, independence, and social development
