Primary Teaching Assistant – SEN Experience Required Horizon Teachers is currently recruiting a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to work in a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Hounslow.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate TA with strong Special Educational Needs experience who is looking to make a meaningful impact in a supportive school environment.
The Role:- Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
- Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, and SEMH
- Assisting the class teacher with planning and delivering tailored interventions
- Supporting pupils with EHCPs
- Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation strategies
- Creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary setting
- Strong SEN experience
- A patient, nurturing and adaptable approach
- Knowledge of behaviour management strategies
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
