Teaching Assistant

£550 - £600 per week
Inner London - North
Long term
Start date: February 2026
We are currently working with a primary school in the heart of Brent. This is the kind of school where staff stay, children are known properly, and support staff are genuinely valued. It’s warm, inclusive, well-led, and full of the sort of energy that reminds you why you wanted to work in education in the first place.

About the school:
  • A happy, welcoming primary school with a strong sense of community
  • Leadership that is visible and supportive
  • Children who are curious, kind, and well-behaved, because expectations are clear and fair
  • A real commitment to staff wellbeing and professional development
  • Well-resourced classrooms and a calm, purposeful atmosphere

The role As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll be:
  • Supporting pupils in class (whole class, small group, and 1:1 as needed)
  • Working closely with the class teacher and SEN team
  • Helping children build confidence, independence, and a love of learning
  • Being part of a team that genuinely collaborates and looks out for each other

Who they’re hoping to find:
  • Someone kind, patient, and emotionally intelligent
  • Experience in a primary school is ideal, but the right attitude matters more than a perfect CV
  • A TA who understands that relationships come first
  • Someone reliable, reflective, and quietly brilliant at what they do
Whether you’re an experienced TA or an aspiring teacher looking for the right school to learn in, this is an excellent opportunity.
